Essential Supplies
Start with a Pair of Havaianas
Unlike pre-punched soles, I use regular Havaianas flip-flops. This lets you choose from a wide variety of colors and sizes, and the finished shoes have a much cleaner, more professional look.

Hole Punch Tool
This is the tool I use to make evenly spaced holes around the sole before crocheting.
The ones I suggested are kits that contain this tool
Cotton Yarn
A good-quality cotton yarn creates durable, comfortable shoes that hold their shape beautifully.
I like using macrame thread, Aliexpress will ship worldwide if your country is not listed!
These are the pre-punched rubber soles I use to create crochet shoes and slippers. They save a lot of time and make the finished shoes look professional.
Crochet Hook
The hook size I use for this project.
This is a set that I recommend because they won’t bend while pulling the yarn!
